G Yoichi Serisawa (1874-1927). Housed in their incredible little
pie crust frames with some wear and corner damage.

G. Yoichi Serisawa was born in Shizuoka, Japan in 1874. Serisawa studied at the Tokyo Imperial Art Academy under Hashimoto Gaho. He immigrated to Seattle, WA in 1918 and, with his family, moved to southern California in 1921. Settling in Long Beach, he worked in commercial art until his death of lung cancer on July 13, 1927. He was the father of artist Sueo Serisawa.
